Roblox Releases new "Auto Summaries" in chat

Roblox's attempt at restoring chat to all age groups (albeit with many limits)

Roblox is testing a new chat feature called Chat Summaries that replaces the old blocked message system with safe, AI-generated summaries of what players are discussing across age groups. The summaries are filtered, visible to everyone, and meant to keep messages understandable without showing restricted messages directly. (Messages with 🔒 emoji) [1]

Roblox says users still need age verification to send chat, and messages that break their Community Standards will remain blocked rather than summarized. Roblox also says there will be no API changes for developers, and a toggle to opt out of summaries is planned for after release. [1],[2]

The feature has already been implemented in game, as shown by a message that is shown by default in chat. However, we have not seen it being used yet.
