Roblox Introduces "18+ DevEx Rate" for developers

The new program will give age checked 18+ developers the ability to earn up to 42% more

This event is ongoing. It is unknown whether Roblox will make a new change regarding this.

Roblox will be introducing a new DevEx rate that gives creators 42% more for eligible spend from US players who age checked 18 or older, starting June 8, 2026. The change is meant to increase the payouts for qualifying revenue while leaving the normal Robux earning process to the other developers.

The new rate applies only to certain in-game purchases, such as game passes, developer products, private servers, and Robux subscriptions, not avatar items. Roblox says the earnings will also be tracked separately in Creator Analytics, and the higher payout works through the usual DevEx system rather than replacing it.
