Roblox Begins Legal Action on "Condo" Games

Roblox has begun sending cease-and-desist letters to some of the biggest creators of “condo” games, marking a more aggressive response to a long running safety problem on the platform. The company said it has identified some creators’ real world identities and is prepared to pursue further legal action if they keep violating Roblox’s terms.

This comes along with moderation changes, including rate limits, new publishing requirements, and tighter automated detection meant to make it harder for bad actors to upload or play policy-violating content. Roblox has also said that it is taking action against players who repeatedly join experiences that break their Community Standards.
